We’re looking for a reliable and motivated Installation / Factory Assistant to join our production and install team.
About the Role
This hands-on role involves assisting with the manufacture, preparation, and installation of signage across a wide range of projects.
You will work both in the factory and on-site, supporting experienced signwriters and installers to deliver high-quality outcomes safely and efficiently.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in quality, and is looking to build a long-term career in the signage industry.
Key Responsibilities
Factory / Production Support
- Assist with the manufacture and assembly of signage
- Prepare materials (cutting, laminating, weeding, packing)
- Operate basic equipment and tools under supervision
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workspace
Installation Support
- Assist with on-site signage installations
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment
- Support vehicle wrap preparation and application
- Ensure installs are completed to a high standard
Workshop & Site Preparation
- Prepare job kits for upcoming installs
- Check materials against job specifications
- Assist with vehicle and equipment setup
- Ensure tools and equipment are maintained
Health & Safety
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
- Use tools and equipment safely
- Maintain awareness of site hazards
- Represent the company professionally on-site
What We’re Looking For
Essential Qualities
- Strong work ethic and reliability

- Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks

- Ability to use power tools
Desirable (but not essential)
- Experience in signage, construction, or trades
- Basic tool handling experience
- White Card (or willingness to obtain)
- Driver’s licence
- EWP certificate
