We’re looking for a motivated Apprentice Sign Maker to join our team and build a long-term career in the signage industry.

About the Role

This is a hands-on apprenticeship where you will learn all aspects of sign making—from production and fabrication through to installation.

You will work alongside experienced signwriters and installers, developing practical skills while contributing to real projects across a wide range of signage applications.

This role suits someone who enjoys working with their hands, has an eye for detail, and takes pride in producing high-quality work.

What You Will Learn

• Vinyl cutting, application, and vehicle wraps
• Fabrication of signage (acrylic, aluminium, composites)
• Digital printing and finishing
• Basic design file preparation (with guidance)
• Sign installation techniques (on-site and workshop)
• Use of tools, machinery, and equipment
• Job preparation and workflow systems

Key Responsibilities

Production & Workshop

• Assist with the manufacture and assembly of signage
• Prepare materials (cutting, laminating, weeding, finishing)
• Maintain a clean and organised workspace
• Follow job instructions and specifications

Installation Support

• Assist with on-site signage installations
• Load and prepare tools and materials
• Support vehicle wrap preparation and application
• Ensure high-quality finishes on all installs

Learning & Development

• Complete apprenticeship training requirements
• Follow guidance from senior team members
• Develop technical and practical skills
• Ask questions and continuously improve

Health & Safety

• Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
• Use tools and equipment safely
• Maintain awareness of site hazards
